Verification badges help to visually confirm the authenticity of a
YouTube channel. The verification tick only appears to the right of
the channel name, and "Verified" appears in a pop-up if you point your
cursor at it.
You can get a verified name for your channel by following the steps below:
a) connect your YouTube channel with a Google+ page or profile;
b) authorize your Google+ page or profile by your commercial entity,
organization, brand or product;
c) verify the page with your domain, the page must contain a link to
your organization’s website, this website must be verified (i.e. have
a small tick next to the website URL).
You can send a request for channel verification with any number of
subscribers. YouTube reviews a variety of factors in order to
determine eligibility for name verification. Your channel name should
be recognizable. Not every blogger will get a verification tick, and
if it is the official channel of mediaperson, TV, sports club and so
on, then the probability to receive a verification badge is much
higher.
If your channel qualifies, you will automatically receive a name
verification badge on your Google+ page or profile over time.
